So excited to finally share this! I couldn't be happier with the end result of this video project we filmed with Land Rover! It gave us the opportunity to show the true story of the wood full circle. I didn’t just want to make another woodshop video, I wanted to show where it all starts with the gritty but rewarding process of reclaiming this gorgeous old wood that has a storied past from century-old American buildings. I feel so fortunate to have worked on this with the creative and talented producers and directors for Land Rover. 

It would be hard to believe but I spent 7, long 12 hour days shooting the footage for this short 2 minute video. It gave me a whole new appreciation for the work I do everyday, compared to the life of an actor!  This was perhaps the most challenging but also most rewarding project I have ever done but the end result made it so worth it. 

On a side note, I'm excited that we have a new/oldish team member who is not only doing our Lumber supply and helped to set up many of the scenes for this video, but also is now shooting video for UWG on site where we reclaim our lumber. Kyle might be seen on Instagram or coming up in future blog posts and on our You Tube channel showing off his fancy drone filming skills and sharing his passion for salvaging Old Growth lumber for us!
